New Pizzeria finally opens to rave reviews
As of this weekend, Astoria now has yet another pizzeria. Located on 3131b 23rd Ave, Jack’s Pizza has finally opened after months of re-modelling work. As well as offering a variety of New York-style pizzas, it also offers rolls, calzones, lasagna, pinwheel, spinach pie, and more. As you may expect, it also offers takeaway. With this said, there’s more than enough on the menu even if you don’t like pizza.
It’s early days but so far, it has achieved some fantastic reviews on Google. Currently, it has a 5/5 rating with one customer going as far as to say: “Best pizza in my life! Big slices. Great environment, great people – a true taste of Italy! Very Authentic.”
Interestingly, this wasn’t the only customer to claim it was the best pizza ever as well. Either Astoria has low standards or it truly is a brilliant pizzeria. Recently, Astoria has undergone something of a pizza revolution with the likes of Nonna’s announcing a new location in the area.
According to this website, there are over 1,000 pizzerias in New York City, with some citing more than 2,000. With this said, the addition of Jack’s may be warmly welcomed in Astoria and it may be a very safe bet from a business perspective.
