New drive-thru Steakhouse to open in Phoenix tomorrow

Following the sale of their ownership in Salad and Go, Tony and Roushan Christofellis ventured into the culinary world by launching Angie’s Lobster, a highly praised drive-thru lobster restaurant in the Valley in 2022. The dynamic couple is now gearing up to introduce yet another drive-thru concept, one that emphasizes offering affordable USDA Prime Top Sirloin Steak.

Their newest endeavor, named Angie’s Prime Grill, pays tribute to Tony Christofellis’ late mother and will showcase a diverse menu comprising steak, organic chicken, and lobster. Meals, inclusive of a beverage, will be attractively priced at $9.99, while the team members will receive a minimum wage of $18.01 per hour. Like their Lobster restaurants, it looks as though a large part of the marketing will go into quality fast food for under $10.

The announcement was shared on their Instagram page which said: “We are so excited to start serving our $9.99 Grilled Prime Meals that we couldn’t wait for our drive-thru to complete construction, which is why we are opening this pop-up restaurant restaurant! You’ll be able to walk up to order and either take your food to go or enjoy on our outdoor patio.”

The grill is primed to open tomorrow and can be found at 880 E Lone Cactus Dr, Phoenix, AZ 85024. This will perhaps mark a new chapter for the Christofellis family who are clearly making their mark and changing the landscape of fast food dining in Phoenix.
