Fast Food Lobster Chain to bring 2 locations to Tucson next year
An Arizona chain has recently announced it will be expanding to Tucson next year. Precisely, it will be opening two venues on Campbell Ave, north of Grant, and is expected to open mid 2024 with Broadway & Wilmot coming at some point later on.
The chain in question is Angie’s Lobster which prides itself on offering $9.99 lobster meals which cannot really be found elsewhere. So far, they have 6 locations in Arizona cities such as Phoenix, however these two locations will be their first in Tucson. The announcement was made on Instagram and garnered hundreds of likes as Tucson locals excitedly commented on the new locations. Despite this, Angie’s did not give an exact date on the openings, so it could be as far away as December 2024.
Over the years, Tucson has housed plenty of fast-food chicken shops, however this marks a change of guard. Usually, eating lobster is associated with luxury restaurants. With this said the idea of a $9.99 lobster meal does sound awfully tempting. What’s even more interesting is that Angie’s also claims that these are Maine lobsters which are known for being high in taste and quality. Overall it will be interesting to see how a drive-thru lobster chain does in Tucson next year.
