This week, it has been revealed that BurgerFi has abruptly closed its 44 N 12th St location. This was documented by various photos which showed the venue was now dormant. This included an empty-looking restaurant floor, as well as untouched mail which indicates that its closure is permanent. At the same time, it is believed that other BurgerFi locations around the city are still operating as usual. As for the 44 N 12th St location, it is not known what the future holds for the building space.

News of the closure was shared on Reddit, where one user commented, saying: “I took my kids through there – we got some Chinese chicken from the place next door (good!) and a burger from BurgerFi. It was absolutely awful – probably the worst burger I’ve ever been served. The only interesting thing about it was that they seared the word BurgerFi on the patty. Taste: 0/10. AND the staff was rude, although working down there next to the train station would suck the soul out of anyone. News about it closing is only surprising because it didn’t happen way sooner.”
