Houston’s priciest property hits the market – And it’s not cheap
Located on a bayou, this property is based in Hunters Creek which is one of Houston’s most prestigious neighborhoods. Here, it sports nearly 9 acres of land which includes a 16,611 sqft three-story mansion with 7 bedrooms and 13 bathrooms. It also comes with landscaped gardens and a host of fun amenities. Originally built in 2005, this is inspired by European architecture which has a strong theme of luxury.
Now for the tough part. This is listed on Zillow for a cool $49,985,000 which also makes it the most expensive property in the city. As an addition, the estate also comes with a two-bedroom guest lodge with its own private pool spa.
The main home includes five custom showcase auto garages, a flex court, two pools, a glass elevator, a complete outdoor kitchen and bar, a lake, and a huge balcony. It also comes with a number of extra rooms that could be used for various purposes such as cinema or gym rooms if so desired.
Interestingly, this property was first listed in June of last year for $65,000,000 before slashing its price by over 23% in October. Based on this, it may eventually sell for less as it is still very expensive. Regardless, whoever buys this will need extra large pockets and won’t be short of living space.
