Popular Thai Restaurant scores a 90 after recent health inspection with findings of thawed food and a dirty kitchen
A recent health inspection at the end of last year has highlighted a number of serious violations that took place in the popular Greensboro restaurant, Thai Square. Currently, Thai Square has an impressive Google review rating of 4.3/5 stars over hundreds of reviews. Clearly, it is a hit with the public and has a reputation as one of the best Thai restaurants in the city. However, the following findings may show it in a different light.
Issues found in the health inspection included room temperature thawing of salmon, room temperature of cooked noodles, and dirt found in the kitchen. These were just a few of the violations that can be found in more detail in the full report. Unfortunately, these weren’t trivial violations either and could potentially lead to serious health issues for potential customers. Overall, the eatery scored 90 which highlights its many issues. Sadly, Thai Kitchen will not be the only offender in Greensboro, as even though health scores are freely available to the public, they are rarely reported on.
Over the years, Thai Square became known for serving dishes such as Thai dumplings, Pattaya Squid and Pad Thai. While its food is an undeniable success, hopefully its kitchen standards will follow in 2024 and significantly improve.
