Over the weekend, Patriot Front flyers were seen posted around areas of Baton Rouge. In photos that appeared on social media, these posters used slogans such as ‘Reclaim America’ with the group’s website included on the same posters.

The posters below were shared on Reddit and were apparently spread around Lake Sherwood and its surrounding areas. Here, users condemned the group while also comparing its values to those of the Nazis. This is the second time that the group has announced its presence in the city. In August of last year, banners were seen in Baton Rouge advertising the group. However, it should be noted that generally speaking, their presence is not very widespread.

Patriot Front is a far-right, white nationalist hate group that was founded in 2017 by Thomas Rousseau, a former member of another white nationalist group called Vanguard America. The group is known for its radical views and for engaging in public demonstrations and propaganda campaigns that promote white supremacy and anti-immigrant rhetoric.

According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, Patriot Front is a relatively new but growing group that has been responsible for several instances of hateful propaganda and vandalism, as well as protests and rallies that have sometimes turned violent.
