Back in 2020, Pizza Rock closed its K Street Mall location. Since then, its flamboyant logo has remained above the entrance. However, this may not be in place for much longer as a new eatery looks set to replace the since abandoned venue. A recent addition has since been added to the front of the building which reads: ‘BPM – Burgers, pizza + more. Coming soon.’

This statement has been in place for some time. However, since then a local has claimed that a lot of work has been sighted with recent refurbishments being made to the venue. They also claimed to have spoken with the owner who claimed to be opening within weeks. Whether this materializes remains to be seen.

This was mentioned in a Reddit thread. Having said this, it’s not the only piece of news to develop from the story. According to one user, they claimed: “I heard it’s the folks that owned Gogi and it’s going to have the Korean twist on pizza and burgers.” If this statement is true then this may turn out to be something genuinely unique. Arguably, Sacramento already has too many generic fast-food chain restaurants. With this said, if this rumor is true then it would be the first of its kind in the city. While this is hearsay at the moment, time will tell whether these rumors are true or not.
