Yet another fast food chain opens in Sacramento – And here’s what it replaced
Back in September, Ramendou located at 4001 Freeport Blvd abruptly closed with little warning. To this day, there is no footprint of its closure online aside from its Google profile. As a result, not everyone in Sacramento will even be aware of its closure even though it has been over 5 months since it shuttered.
Since then, Ramendou has been replaced by a Hangry Joe’s restaurant. This is the first of its kind in Sacramento and marks yet another fast-food chicken restaurant in the city. These seemed to pop up in large numbers last year and this trend looks to be continuing with Hangry Joe’s. To date, Hangry Joe’s has almost 100 locations across the US and is known for its hot chicken. In many ways, Hangry Joe’s menu can be compared to that of Dave’s Hot Chicken.
Hangry Joe’s is a rapidly growing Nashville-style hot chicken franchise with locations across the United States, as well as Dubai and Korea. The franchise was founded in 2021 and has become known for its fried chicken tenders, served with a variety of spicy sauces and sides. The menu is simple yet satisfying, with options ranging from mild to extra-hot, catering to a wide range of tastes and spice preferences.
