When thinking of Champaign, most people typically don’t associate the city with supercars. However, this was the case yesterday when a motor enthusiast spotted a super rare Pagani Huayra in the wild. Even by supercar standards, this car is on another level.

In total, only 100 of these cars were ever made which means this is probably the only one in Champaign, and possibly the only one in Illinois for that matter. This was first posted on Reddit by a shocked local. Interestingly, the image also showed a peek into the garage that the car was entering, which seemed to have even more sleek supercars located inside.

The Pagani Huayra is a rare and exotic supercar that was first introduced in 2011. This Italian-made beauty is powered by a powerful 6.0-liter V12 engine, which allows it to reach an impressive top speed of 238 mph and go from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.8 seconds. The Huayra is known for its unique carbon-titanium chassis, which makes it incredibly lightweight and strong.

Due to their scarcity, these cars are highly sought-after by car collectors and enthusiasts. The Huayra comes with a high price tag, typically around $3.5 million, but for those who can afford it, it is a true work of art on wheels.
