New Craft Donuts store opens in Zafarano Dr
Popular Santa Fe donut shop Craft Donuts has just opened its latest branch at Zafarano Drive. For many years now, locals in the area have been crying out for a good donut store. Now, it seems that the wait is over. Originally located on the Old Santa Fe trail, Craft Donuts has been around for several years in the form of a food truck. The new location is a brick-and-mortar shop which shows how far they have come. And for those wondering, like the original place, the Zafarano Drive location also creates the donuts from fresh.
The new location serves classics such as the S’Mores, cinnamon roll, maple bacon, and cookies n’ cream among other creations. Keeping on trend with its predecessor, it also serves coffee and other hot drinks. The new location was confirmed on their Facebook page and officially opened on New Year’s Day. Here, they wrote: ‘Start the new year with donuts! Open at our new southside location on New Year’s Day.’
Since then, it has enjoyed positive reviews and seems to be mirroring the success of the original spot. Over the years, Craft Donuts has gone on to become one of the most highly-rated donut spots in Santa Fe. Based on this, we could possibly see a further expansion of the store in the future, depending on how the Zafarano Drive location performs.
