As a result, it’s not too surprising given the context. Nonetheless, even by their standards, this is still a very expensive dish.

Described as a ‘whole roast pig served with sides of vegetables, beans, and potatoes’, the Cochnillo Asado is priced at an eye-watering $475.00. Subsequently, customers can order half of the dish which is priced at $260.00.

On the one hand, sourcing, storing, and serving an entire pig will undoubtedly come at a high price. Nonetheless, it still seems incredibly steep for what is on offer.
