Yesterday, news emerged that Astoria is set to get a new fast-food restaurant. On social media, a user uploaded an image showing new signage for Buffalo Wild Wings which is set to open in the space previously occupied by Dollar Store on Broadway.

As seen in the image below, the renovation process is still in its very early stages with the interior still needing a lot of work. Because of this, there is no set opening date and it looks as though this will not be ready until at least a few months due to the sheer amount of work still needed. While this will be Astoria’s first Buffalo Wild Wings location, the chain already has several establishments dotted around New York City.

Buffalo Wild Wings was founded in 1982 in Columbus, Ohio, by Jim Disbrow and Scott Lowery. BWW is best known for its signature chicken wings, which come in a variety of flavors, such as Mango Habanero and Caribbean Jerk. Their menu also includes other options such as burgers, sandwiches, and salads.

With over 1,200 locations across the United States and internationally, BWW has become a popular destination for sports fans and wing lovers alike. The restaurants feature multiple large televisions, making them an ideal spot to catch a game while enjoying some wings and a cold drink.
