Located on 5th Ave, this history 1910 New York City townhouse has just reduced its price by a whopping $7,500,000. Despite this, it is still listed for sale on Zillow for $65,000,000 making it the most expensive townhouse in both the city and state. Interestingly, it was last sold in 2012 for $42,000,000 which highlights just how much luxury NYC real estate has grown since then.

As you would expect, this property has a lot to offer and is not your usual property. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing in a great location, but it also has 10 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, and 16,000 sqft of living space.

As seen, many of its original features remain in place which includes hardwood floors, high ceilings, and large windows, as well as wooden beamed ceilings and decadant chandeliers. It also comes with a beautifully tiled kitchen, a grand staircase, a wine cellar, spacious rooms, and a rooftop garden balcony space.

It’s fair to say that there aren’t too many townhouses in New York City that can rival this which is possibly where its price comes from. And, while New York is not short of potential buyers, even by this city’s standards the price tag is still very high. Based on this, it will be interesting to see whether this sells for its current price or whether it needs another price cut.
