Mikie Squared was known for its welcoming atmosphere, equipped with flat-screen TVs for sports enthusiasts and cozy corners for intimate gatherings, fostering a sense of community that extended beyond the four walls. Since its inception in 2005, the establishment remained dedicated to encapsulating the essence of Hoboken’s neighborhood spirit through its diverse menu, lively bar, captivating music, engaging events, and expertly crafted cocktails.

The closure of Mikie Squared echoes a concerning trend within Hoboken, as several other businesses have recently fallen victim to unforeseen circumstances. The future of the space at 616 Washington Street remains unconfirmed, leaving a bittersweet void in the hearts of the local community.
