Huntsville’s Fusion BBQ has often been lauded as one of the best barbeque spots in the city. However, it may be closing after being served by an eviction notice by the Madison County Sheriff. Although the popular eatery was open for business as recently as early as December 29th, it looks as though it could be closing for good.

The restaurant, located at 1300 Meridian Street was recently served with the notice that was left on its door handle. This was photographed by a passerby and it read: ‘This is to inform you that this property is scheduled for eviction. To avoid having your personal items placed on the curb, you should move your items out and return the keys to your property manager. We do not disclose the date or time of the eviction to the tenant.’

Due to the nature of this notice, things look to be serious. Sometimes, landlords will serve notices of their own however this is coming from the sheriff’s department. It will undoubtedly come as bad news for locals due to the abrupt nature of the news and may signal the permanent closure of the restaurant.

Fusion BBQ was a popular spot known for its unique blend of barbecue styles and flavors. The restaurant had been serving up delicious barbecue dishes since it first opened its doors just last year.
