One of Mobile’s oldest vintage markets has announced that it will be permanently closing its doors on January 31st. This statement was made on its Facebook page which was met with sadness by the local community. Although the outlet announced its closure, the market didn’t go into detail regarding the context of the closure.

Speaking on Facebook, Twisted Tree Market said: ‘It is with a heavy heart that I must announce Twisted Tree is closing its doors permanently. Our last day of business will be January 31, 2024. It has been with YOUR support that we have come such a long way in the last 6 and a half years. Please continue to support our local vendors as much as possible. We thank each and every one of you who make a point to shop local first.’

Twisted Tree Vintage Market is a unique shopping destination in Mobile which is known for its diverse collection of crafts, antiques, and other curious items. The indoor market, which opened in 2017, serves the community by providing a convenient and affordable location for vendors and start-up businesses to sell their wares.

Located on Old Madison Pike near Slaughter Road, the store includes art, crafts, furniture, antiques, boutique clothing, jewelry, and other miscellaneous goods.
