When thinking about the local wildlife population in Philadelphia, people tend to think of deer, squirrels, and raccoons. So, you can imagine the shock and amazement of one Philly local who managed to photograph a number of camels walking down their street which took place yesterday. The bizarre occurrence was documented on social media when they asked others about the purpose of the camels and no one knew what they were doing.

Here, hundreds of locals chimed in with various theories and jokes. Due to the timing of the sighting, many even quipped that the three wise men had gotten lost in the Philadelphia streets. Others also joked that people had resorted to using camels as their preferred mode of transport after the SEPTA buses kept breaking down. This sighting took place around the Point Breeze area.

As seen, the camels and their owners were dressed in traditional attire which only added to the mystery. Thankfully, there were no oncoming cars in sight as this may have also caused problems as the camels navigated the narrow Philly streets.

While this city may be home to some unusual sights, this has to be one of the strangest of them all. Unfortunately, this image has no explanation and brings up more questions than answers.
