Part of owning a business sometimes involves receiving negative criticism from customers. Rightly or wrongly, this is the case for thousands of US restaurants. Recently, however, one Omaha eatery took matters into its own hands when its owner gave a passionate (and somewhat inappropriate) response to a negative online review.

Here, Flipino Fusion responded by writing: ‘Please feel free to smear us publically on all the review sites as well. Our 5.0 rating could use a little help. We put our blood sweat and tears into opening a restaurant just to have negative, untrue reviews like this written by cancel culture Gen Z tweens. And to all the Karen’ts out there surprised, I clap back at your unjust reviews.’

Located on Bellevue, it looks as though this isn’t the only piece of gossip surrounding the eatery. News of the response quickly spread to Reddit. Here, an alleged former employee claimed that the owner prepared food with his dirty hands and left meat out for 24 hours. It should be pointed out that this is merely an allegation at this point but combined with the above review response, it looks as though this restaurant has recently suffered a PR disaster. With 2024 around the corner, it looks like a week to forget for this restaurant.
