Indianapolis Brewery A Taproom has announced that it will be permanently shutting its doors on January 7th. The announcement to close was made public across their social media accounts. Here, they also promised to honor membership programs and gift cards. With this said, there are still a few days left for fans of the venue to get down and experience the taproom for one last time. Not only this but in a kind gesture, they also claimed to give $1 to every staff member for every draft and 4 pack sold.

Here, their Facebook statement read: ‘With great displeasure, we’ve made the tough decision to sell our remaining inventory and close our doors no later than Jan 7th; however, we anticipate our beer inventory depleting shortly after New Year’s Eve. Keep an eye on the comments here for updates on our official last day! To support our dedicated staff, $1 from every draft pour and $1 from every 4pk will be allocated to fund a week or more of pay after our closure.’

Interestingly, the taproom did not go into further detail as to why they decided to close. However, they did reach out to people wanting to open their own venue in the area which shows their enthusiasm for craft beers is still going strong.
