Taking its name from the illustrious Queen’s Park Hotel of Trinidad and its signature rum-based libation, the bar flourished on the legacy of creativity born during the American Prohibition era. Their dedication to alcohol was recognized in 2022, earning them a coveted regional semifinalist position in the Best U.S. Cocktail Bar category at Tales of the Cocktail, a celebrated industry conference.

While this chapter closes, the spirit of Queen’s Park lives on through its sister establishment, Neon Moon, a neighborhood dive bar just around the corner. Until April 1st, 2024, any outstanding Queen’s Park gift cards may be redeemed at either location, allowing patrons a final opportunity to savor the unique ambiance and alcoholic selections that have distinguished this treasured Birmingham bar.
