Loop Coffee Shop closes after 14 years of business
After 14 years of fostering a vibrant community through art, music, and artisanal coffee, LOOP, a cornerstone of the Tremont neighborhood, has regrettably closed its doors. As of December 27, the cherished establishment on West 11th Street served its final cup of expertly roasted coffee, bidding farewell to its loyal patrons and leaving a significant void in the cultural landscape of the district.
News of the closure was posted on their Facebook page which gained hundreds of likes and comments praising the Cleveland coffee shop for its years of custom. Here, LOOP wrote: ‘It’s been a good run Tremont. It is with mixed emotions that we announce our closure after 14 years of serving our customers, friends, and neighbors. We want to express our deepest gratitude for our customers and employees over the years. The decision to close was not an easy one, but it’s time for some new adventures. With heartfelt appreciation, LOOP.’
Over the years, LOOP had earned a stellar reputation in the city for its cozy vibes and fresh coffee. As a result, it was highly regarded as one of the best coffee shops in Cleveland.
Despite a rather emotional goodbye post, LOOP did not go into further detail as to why they were closing which could be financially or personally motivated. At this point, it is not known what will be replacing the establishment.
