Ultra rare one-of-a-kind Bertone Mantide supercar spotted in Massachusetts
Unless you’re a big car fan, the likelihood is that you won’t have heard of the Bertone Mantide. This is for good reason too, as it is literally one of the rarest cars in the world. So, you can imagine the surprise when someone saw it casually parked in a lot in Massachusetts.
The image was originally shared on social media where petrolheads were genuinely shocked to see it out in the wild. However, not everyone was impressed, with some comparing it to a real-life Hotwheels car. With something this rare, you may expect it to be confined to a garage forever. However, it looks as though the owner is putting it to good use. It is not known whether the car owner is based in Massachusetts or if they were just visiting.
The Bertone Mantide is a sports car that was designed and built by the famous Italian design firm Bertone in collaboration with American automaker Chevrolet. Based on the Chevrolet Corvette, the Mantide features a unique and eye-catching design that combines the sleek lines of a sports car with the aggressiveness of a supercar. The car was unveiled at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show and was limited to only 1 unit ever made, making it a highly exclusive and sought-after vehicle.
