Huntsville’s first Del Taco restaurant finally on its way as construction begins
According to a Huntsville Facebook page, Del Taco is on its way to the city. This isn’t just hearsay either, as photographs have also shown work has also started on the site. Here, the Facebook page read: ‘North Alabama’s First Del Taco is under construction and will be located on Cabela Dr. (across the hotels).’
This will come as good news for local fans of the chain. This is because the restaurant has been in the works for the past few years. At one point, some of the local population even questioned as to whether this would get completed as it seemed to drag on with little progress at one point. However, those doubts have now been put to bed. Regardless, an exact opening date has still not been given.
Del Taco is a well-known fast-food chain with a long history and a strong presence in the western United States. Founded in 1964 in Yermo, California, Del Taco has grown to over 600 locations across the country, offering a delicious menu of Mexican-inspired dishes and American fast-food classics. Despite this, it has still not found its way to Huntsville just yet. From tacos and burritos to burgers and fries, Del Taco has an extensive Mexican menu which is also known for its affordable prices.
