After closing in 2022, Hi-Five Doughnuts has just announced that it is re-opening. In an Instagram statement made earlier in the month, the iconic doughnut store claimed that they were aiming to re-open in January. With this being said, if all goes to plan then it could be up and running within a matter of days.

Not only this but part of their re-opening statement also acted as a job advert, where they asked for bakers and barstas to apply for jobs. Here, their announcement read: ‘Hello everybody! We have missed y’all SO SO much! We are looking forward to seeing everyone’s faces and giving all the Hi-Fives. The new space is rolling right along. (see what we did there) Our new shop is located at: 1940 Harvard Dr. Louisville Ky 40205.’

Unsurprisingly, the news went down well with locals who celebrated the re-opening. After shutting down in 2022 to relocate, the journey of re-opening has not been swift. Nonetheless, it looks as though the wait is over and within weeks it may be business as usual.

Hi-Five is known for its handmade, scratch-made doughnuts that are rolled and cut by hand. The shop has gained a devoted following for its delicious and creative flavors, as well as its commitment to using high-quality ingredients.
