The Wild Cow announces shock closure – Citing rising rent as the main reason
Today welcomes some sad news for the vegetarian population of Nashville. This is because the beloved Wild Cow restaurant has announced that it will be permanently closing on December 30. This comes after 14 years of business which earned the establishment a stellar reputation within the Nashville food community. According to their statement, the main reason for closing was based on rising rent and food costs. They also went on to thank staff and customers for their years of support.
The announcement was made on their official Instagram account, where the eatery wrote: ‘It is with great regret that we have decided to close The Wild Cow on December 30. With skyrocketing rent and food costs, the business is no longer sustainable. We want to thank our community, our staff, and our customers for 14 years of supporting The Wild Cow. Please stop in before we go so we can thank you in person.’
At this point in time, it is not known what will replace The Wild Cow. However, it will certainly be missed. The above statement gained over 2,800 likes and hundreds of comments where many praised the restaurant for its good food and vibes. Not only was it known for its vegetarian food but it also catered to the vegan community too.
