Popular Coffee spot returns to Detroit with Ferndale location

Fans of Caribou Coffee rejoice! A standalone location of the beloved coffeehouse chain is making its grand re-entry into metro Detroit, starting this Monday in the charming town of Ferndale.

The new Caribou Coffee outpost, aptly dubbed a “cabin,” is nestled at 22134 Woodward Ave. and boasts a drive-thru lane for your convenience. This marks the first stand-alone Caribou Coffee in metro Detroit since most of its locations departed Michigan a decade ago.

Prior to this, the brand briefly made a comeback five years ago in Einstein Bagel Bros. stores. But now, Caribou Coffee is officially back with a standalone presence, ready to serve up its signature handcrafted coffee beverages and delectable treats to coffee aficionados in the area.

Mark your calendars for Monday, December 18th at 10:00 AM for a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new Caribou Coffee in Ferndale, located between 8 Mile and 9 Mile roads.

This cozy cabin-style Caribou Coffee establishment spans approximately 600 square feet and offers a convenient drive-thru and pick-up window. However, it lacks indoor seating. For those who prefer to linger over their coffee creations, the Ferndale location will feature a small patio area.

In addition to its signature coffees, Caribou Coffee Ferndale will also serve up a variety of breakfast sandwiches, baked goods, and snacks to satisfy your cravings.

This Ferndale Caribou Coffee marks the first of many planned locations in metro Detroit. A second outpost is slated to open in Allen Park in January, followed by additional expansion throughout the state.

Manna Development Group, a Panera Brands franchisee based in Encinitas, California, is the proud owner and operator of this new Caribou Coffee location. They are thrilled to bring the beloved brand back to metro Detroit and introduce it to a whole new generation of coffee lovers.
