Two days back, Everbloom Designs was the victim of a burglary. The boutique flower shop based at 2489 Broad Ave in Memphis was hit in the early hours of the morning and documented the crime on their Facebook page. Unfortunately, like many other small businesses around the city, Everbloom has been burglarized recently which seems to be a recent trend at the moment. At this point in time, it is not known if the crimes are linked or if they’re random. However, according to this article, a culprit has since been arrested, who apparently stole candles from the store.

Speaking on Facebook, Everbloom wrote: ‘We were broken into yesterday morning. While he didn’t take much and I already got some of it back, he broke a ton of stuff. So if you’re local and still need gifts for your plant/flower-loving people please come visit. We have extended hours this week and are open today.’ This was accompanied by the image below, which showed the aftermath of the crime.

Naturally, the Memphis community paid their condolences in the comments section, with many also condemning the heinous act of the perpetrator. At the same time, Everbloom has not called it quits, and despite having to temporarily board up the shattered window, they are still open for business as usual.
