While Raising Cane’s is something of a Baton Rouge institution, it looks as though some locals are getting fed up with its rising prices. Yesterday, a Reddit user uploaded an updated price sheet which was apparently leaked by a worker at the OG Canes on Highland. Here, it showed rises across the board.

Responding to the rumored rises, the resident who uploaded the image wrote: ‘Raising Cane’s raising prices…again. This is from a worker (not me the OP) inside the OG Canes 1 on Highland on the plans to raise the prices on all menu items coming shortly. Canes hasn’t been worth the regular price in years and now this. When are we gonna call it quits on them?’

Some of the biggest price hikes included the box combo X2 which was originally priced at $21.98 and was rising to $24.17 as well as the Caniac and box combo which would rise from $26.98 to $29.66. Generally, most items on the menu were rising by $1 or slightly more. Naturally, many weren’t happy about this and this image prompted hundreds of comments blasting the raises. It should be noted that this has not yet been confirmed and at this point is speculation.
