Iconic Brewery to close imminently after 5 years of business

December 14, 2023 by No Comments

Oasis Brewing, a pioneer of Colorado’s microbrewery scene, first opened its doors in Boulder in 1991. After a fifteen-year hiatus, the brewery reopened in a repurposed church in Denver in 2018. Unfortunately, Oasis Brewing will bid farewell to its loyal patrons on December 23, 2023.

Oasis made the shock announcement on their Instagram account, where they wrote: ‘It is with a heavy heart that we are closing Oasis after a final day of serving amazing beer on December 23rd. Words cannot express how grateful we are for the community around us and the support we have had over the last five years. This decision was not easy and certainly not what we had imagined when we opened in 2018. Thank you to everyone who has helped build the community and atmosphere at Oasis. Please come in and enjoy a pint with our staff and help us go out on a positive note.’

As seen with the statement, the reason was not given. With this said, it could be due to financial or personal reasons. Nonetheless, news of the closure will come as sad news for Denver residents who may have enjoyed the quirky ex-church venue. At this point in time, it is not known what will be moving in after Oasis vacates the premises.
