New Bagel Shop To Open In Atlas Luxury Apartments
Construction is in its final stages for Atlas, a 24-story residential building situated at 270 Johnston Avenue in Jersey City’s Bergen-Lafayette neighborhood. This development, a collaboration between MHS Architecture, Alpine Residential, and Fields Grade, is on track to deliver 169 rental units, ranging from studios to three-bedroom layouts. Many of the residences will also boast private balconies, providing captivating vistas that encompass the Statue of Liberty and the iconic Manhattan skyline.
The ground-level retail space will accommodate a bagel café for the convenience of residents. This has got locals wondering why there has never been another Bagel shop opened in downtown Jersey City, as the only other place is the well-known Cava. Although this may be due to the fact that rent is so high in this area, it is difficult to make a profit selling bagels and coffee.
Inside the apartments, residents can expect a high level of comfort and convenience, featuring wide-plank flooring, custom closet systems, in-unit washers and dryers, smart lock systems, quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and well-appointed bathrooms.
Bergen-Lafayette, renowned for its community ambiance, vibrant art scene, and accessibility to downtown Manhattan, boasts excellent connectivity through light rail and ferry services. Notably, residents will find themselves steps away from stops for the 6 bus line and the Liberty State Park Station for New Jersey Transit, offering access to the Hudson-Bergen Train.
