Torchy’s is set to open in Columbus very soon. This Austin-based eatery, which first introduced its cuisine to Columbus through a ghost kitchen and opened its first local restaurant at Polaris in 2022, will unveil its third area branch this month.

The Hamilton Quarter outpost at 6042 N. Hamilton Road will debut on December 13th at 10:00 AM. The restaurant in Dublin, at 3762 W. Dublin-Granville Road, also opened this year.

On December 11th, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, the Hamilton Quarter restaurant will host a preview event. Diners will receive two tacos and a free non-alcoholic beverage, as well as access to a queso tasting bar. The gathering will also feature a live DJ and giveaways of Torchy’s merchandise.

On the day of the grand opening, the first 100 people in line will receive a limited-edition Torchy’s Tacos New Albany opening T-shirt. The shirt, which can be worn on subsequent visits, entitles the wearer to a free half-order of green chile queso and chips for a year. This offer is only valid at that restaurant, but it can be redeemed once per day on dine-in or carryout orders at the restaurant. It does not apply to online or delivery orders.

Torchy’s Tacos began as a food trailer in Austin 17 years ago and has since expanded to 116 locations in 14 states. The restaurant also serves its breakfast tacos all day long and features a Taco of the Month, which adds variety to the menu.

Torchy’s Tacos joins Café Zupas and Chick-fil-A as new dining options at Casto’s Hamilton Quarter development, which is located at the intersection of Columbus, Gahanna, and New Albany. Café Zupas opened last month, and Chick-fil-A launched in October.

Torchy’s Tacos is a popular choice for Austinites, and we’re excited to see it expanding to Columbus. The restaurant’s unique menu and vibrant atmosphere are sure to be a hit with Central Ohioans.
