Beloved Vegan Restaurant announces impending closure
After 16 years of business, one of Los Angeles’s most popular vegan restaurants has decided to permanently close. This week, Flore Vegan made the announcement on social media which may have come as a shock to many. Over the years, this had earned the reputation as one of the best vegan spots in the city, as well as its lovely, welcoming atmosphere.
Writing on Instagram, they made the shock announcement, claiming: ‘To our community, this announcement is one that we never dreamt we’d make. Sadly, Monday December 18th will be our final service. Please stop in during our final two weeks. We would love to feed you again, say thank you and farewell.’ As well as this, the eatery also praised its customers and staff members over the years in an emotional farewell. Despite clearly being written from the heart, the goodbye statement did not reference why Flore Vegan had decided to close, which could have been for financial or personal reasons.
As well as this, Flore Vegan is also known for its commitment to sustainability. The restaurant uses compostable take-out containers and recycled materials whenever possible, and it sources its ingredients from local farms and vendors.
The restaurant’s menu featured a wide variety of dishes, from classic comfort food like tacos and burgers to more creative creations like cauliflower steak and vegan meatloaf. All of the dishes are made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and are free of artificial flavors and preservatives. However, it seems that everything must come to an end.
