Pittsburgh’s most expensive condo listed for sale – And its HOA fee is enormous
Recently listed for sale on Zillow, this is not your typical condo. In fact, it’s more like a palace in the sky. Located in the illustrious 550 Market Street building, this penthouse takes up two stories and is far bigger than most homes in the city.
Here, it includes 6 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, and 11,700 sqft of living space. Typically, people think of condos as being a small bachelor pad. However, this could easily house a large family. Originally built in 2010, this has also been modeled to look like it’s hundreds of years old and the interior is clearly inspired by a European manor house.
Unfortunately, this caliber of property is not cheap. It is listed for sale for $4,950,000 which not only makes it the city’s most expensive condo but also one of the most pricey properties in general. To add to this, its monthly HOA fee is $5,190 which equals to a staggering $62,280 per year.
This comes with a panoramic view of the downtown Pittsburgh skyline, 4 fireplaces, 2 walk-in closets, crystal chandeliers, a home gym, a wine cellar, an office room, and other luxury amenities. Although this is undoubtedly a seriously impressive property, it also requires some serious cash in order to live there.
