The young restaurant chain Raising Cane’s, famous for its limited menu featuring fried tenders, Cane’s Sauce, coleslaw, and toast, is currently exploring the possibility of establishing a location at the intersection of southwest Argyle Forest Boulevard and Merchants Way within Oakleaf Station.

Raising Cane’s is contemplating the construction of a 2,691-square-foot restaurant that can accommodate 50 guests, complete with a drive-thru and outdoor patio seating.

This 1.21-acre plot is situated between Gator’s Dockside and Bank of America, right in front of the Epic Theatres, with Sleiman Enterprises acting as the developer for Oakleaf Station.

Kimley-Horn and Associates Inc., based in Jacksonville, are the civil engineers overseeing the project, and JEA is in the process of reviewing a service availability request.

As enthusiasts will already know, Raising Cane’s menu features various box combos comprising chicken fingers, fries, coleslaw, their signature sauce, Texas toast, and a selection of beverages. They also offer a sandwich combo that includes three chicken fingers served on a toasted bun.

Customers have the option to order tailgates, which come in quantities of 25, 50, 75, or 100 chicken fingers. Beverage choices encompass sweet and unsweetened tea, lemonade, and fountain drinks.

Additional items available include individual chicken fingers, extra sauce, crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast, and coleslaw.

There are currently 14 Raising Cane’s locations in Florida, with the closest ones located in Gainesville and two in the Orlando area.

Florida is a recent addition to the company’s expansion, with its first Florida location opening in Homestead in November 2022. The launch garnered strong enthusiasm, with over 200 eager customers, lining up early in the morning to become the first customers in the state. The second Florida location opened its doors in January 2023 in Miami Beach.
