It’s been a few years since Harrington’s closed and arguably, San Francisco has never been the same. Despite this, there may be some good news. Whisper it quietly, as Harrington’s may be on its way back. Unlike previous rumors, it looks like its return is real this time, and we have the photos to prove it. As seen below, its renovations look to be nearly completed. News of its comeback was first documented on Reddit where the photos originally surfaced.

Here, a number of users showed their happiness that it was finally re-opening and one user explained why. Here they said: “It closed for a long time and was up for sale. Since no one came in to buy it, they’re remodeling and are supposed to open soon.” Unfortunately, the term ‘soon’ is loose and could mean anything between a couple of weeks to many months. Nonetheless, it looks like Harrington’s is finally on the road to return.

Harrington’s Bar & Grill was one of San Francisco’s oldest bars, operating for 85 years before closing in 2020. It was known for its Irish pub atmosphere, fine food, and friendly service. It was located at 245 Front Street in the Financial District, and it was a popular spot for locals and tourists alike. The bar was known for its wide selection of beers, cocktails, and pub grub.
