New Taco spot to open at Alicia Parkway shopping center
San Diego-based restaurant group Shōwa Hospitality is expanding its reach, with plans to open a new location of its popular taco chain, The Taco Stand, in Mission Viejo. The new restaurant will be located at 24440 Alicia Pkwy, near Alicia Landing.
According to a liquor license recently filed with Orange County’s Santa Ana office, the new Taco Stand is expected to open in the coming months. The restaurant will feature the brand’s signature tacos made with handmade corn tortillas and premium proteins, as well as fresh ingredients for its in-house guacamole, salsas, and other Mexican favorites.
In addition to its extensive taco menu, The Taco Stand will also offer Mexican popsicles, Rosarito-style churros, Micheladas, and other authentic staples from Baja California. This commitment to authenticity is what has made The Taco Stand so popular with its customers in San Diego, Encinitas, La Jolla, Laguna Beach, Costa Mesa, Orange, Miami, and Las Vegas, where it currently operates 10 locations.
With its opening in Mission Viejo, The Taco Stand is expanding its presence in Orange County and bringing its delicious and authentic Baja California cuisine to even more residents.
