The National Basketball Association (NBA) has expanded its retail footprint with the grand opening of its third-ever flagship store in Houston, Texas. The new 7,500-square-foot store, located in the Galleria Mall, marks a significant milestone for the NBA’s commitment to engaging with fans and providing them with an immersive shopping experience.

The Houston store is a treasure trove of official NBA and WNBA merchandise and memorabilia, catering to the passionate fan base in the region. From jerseys and apparel to headwear, sporting goods, toys, and collectibles, the store offers an extensive selection of gear to commemorate favorite teams and players.

In line with its partnership with Lids, the Indianapolis-based sports hat and apparel retailer, Lids will oversee the operations of the Houston store. The store features a dedicated customization area where fans can personalize NBA jerseys and hats for all 30 teams, adding a unique touch to their fandom.

To further elevate the shopping experience, the Houston NBA store boasts interactive window displays and a captivating center court area. This central space will showcase special product collections and serve as an event space, bringing fans closer to the heart of the NBA.

The opening of the Houston store marks Lids’ second foray into The Galleria this year. In April, the retailer introduced its Lids Hat Drop concept to the mall, offering a curated selection of limited-edition and exclusive headwear. Lids Hat Drop initially launched as an online-only platform in 2022, followed by the first brick-and-mortar store in Queens, New York.
