Popular Utah Restaurant announces permanent closure after 18 years of business
Located in Midvale, Epicure was known for its nice selection of food and drink. The casual eatery had been known for its American dishes, including its signature flatbread for some time. It seems as though locals enjoyed it too, as the restaurant had achieved solid reviews over the years.
It may be quite surprising then, to learn of its permanent closure. News of this was first announced on its website which now greets customers with a note that reads: ‘It is with a heavy heart that we must announce the closure of our beloved restaurant, Epicure Fine Food & Drink. This decision was not made lightly, and it comes as a result of circumstances beyond our control. We want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for your unwavering support throughout the years. We want to extend our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this may cause. We are immensely thankful for the friendships we’ve formed, the celebrations we’ve shared, and the support of our valued customers over the last 18 years!’
Despite this rather heartfelt message, the reason for its closure remains unknown and could be due to personal or financial reasons.
Epicure’s menu featured a variety of dishes, including fresh seafood, handmade pasta, and expertly prepared meats. The restaurant had a full bar, offering craft cocktails, fine wines, and local craft beers.
