New healthy-eating fast food restaurant opens in Orange County
Urban Plates, a commissary-style eatery renowned for its commitment to organic and affordable cuisine, has expanded its Orange County presence with the grand opening of its fifth location in Fountain Valley on Monday, Nov. 20. This marks the 19th restaurant for the Solana Beach-headquartered chain since its inception in 2011.
To celebrate this exciting milestone, Urban Plates will host a community grand-opening party at the Fountain Valley location on Saturday, Dec. 2, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The event will feature live entertainment by DJ Mel, a build-your-own bouquet station by Pixie Pop-Ups, complimentary fare, and enticing giveaways.
At the heart of Urban Plates’ philosophy lies a dedication to providing wholesome meals crafted with organic ingredients at a price point that appeals to a wide range of diners including beets and avocado bowl, crispy tender chicken sandwich, grilled tofu bowl, and others.
Urban Plates’ commitment to wholesome indulgence extends to their dessert menu, offering a variety of by-the-slice or whole cake options, including a mango tart, hummingbird cake, and a chocolate-vanilla layer cake adorned with vanilla bean cream, chocolate ganache, seasonal berries, and edible flowers.
Urban Plates is conveniently located at 18050 Brookhurst St., Fountain Valley, and welcomes guests from 11 a.m. to 9:45 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and from 11 a.m. to 9:15 p.m. on Sundays through Thursdays.
