New Bulgarian Bakery opens in Pittsburgh

After years of delighting Pittsburghers at local farmers markets, Jak’s Bakery is finally setting down roots in Bloomfield. Owner and baker Zhelyazko (Jak) Latinov and his wife and co-owner Molly Freedman Latinova are thrilled to announce the grand opening of their storefront at 4310 Main St. which occurred on Sunday, Nov. 26, at 7 a.m.

Jak’s Bakery is a haven for pastry lovers, offering a tantalizing array of sweet and savory treats crafted fresh daily by hand. Their signature creations include hand-pulled phyllo dough pastries with both savory fillings (ricotta-feta or spinach-feta) and sweet fillings (pumpkin or apple-walnut).
