New Wine Bar & Restaurant opens near Asheville
Just in time for the holiday season, a new destination for exciting beverages and delectable cuisine has arrived in the heart of Hendersonville. Claywood Wine-Whiskey Social, situated at 317 Seventh Ave. East, officially unveiled its doors on November 15, marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Henderson County Chamber of Commerce.
The restaurant, spearheaded by Carly Buntin, her husband, Scott, and Carly’s mother, Jean Reinhardt, tantalizes taste buds with an array of artisan charcuterie selections, including venison and bacon-wrapped wild game. Beyond the inviting bar and main dining area, a Social Room awaits, perfectly suited for intimate gatherings. As you would expect, this is also home to an array of alcoholic beverages.
“We’re starting out with a simple yet enticing menu,” revealed Carly Buntin, hinting at future expansions that will introduce even more exotic meats and culinary pairings. Claywood Wine-Whiskey Social promises to be a haven for discerning palates seeking a refined dining experience.
Located at 317 7th Ave E, Hendersonville, this is roughly a 30-minute drive from Asheville and offers something a bit different compared to most of the local eateries. Whether it will prove to stand the test of time remains to be seen. For now at least, it is nice to see people trying new ideas in the area.
