Brazilian Steakhouse to open first Tennessee venue in Nashville

Acclaimed Brazilian steakhouse Fogo de Chão is set to make its Tennessee debut with an 8,550-square-foot space at Nashville Yards, the vibrant mixed-use development transforming downtown Nashville. This marks the first Fogo de Chão location in the state and is expected to fill a void in the Nashville dining scene following the closure of Rodizio Grill, a popular Brazilian steakhouse that once graced Second Avenue before the 2020 Christmas Day explosion. While plans are underway to revive Rodizio Grill, Fogo de Chão’s arrival brings a new and exciting culinary adventure to Music City.

Since its inception in Brazil in 1979, Fogo de Chão has expanded to over 70 locations worldwide, captivating diners with its authentic churrasco experience. The restaurant’s signature style involves gaucho chefs expertly grilling a variety of meats over an open flame, offering a feast for the senses.

The Nashville Yards location will embody Fogo de Chão’s commitment to tradition and quality. Diners can expect an expansive dining room centered around a live-fire churrascaria grill, showcasing the artistry of gaucho chefs as they butcher, hand carve, and grill succulent cuts of protein. A Market Table will anchor the front of the grill, showcasing seasonal salads, fresh superfoods, cured meats, antipasti, and more. Dry-aged meat lockers for in-house aging will display indulgent cuts, ensuring an unparalleled dining experience.

The opening of Fogo de Chão at Nashville Yards is a testament to the city’s growing culinary landscape and its appeal to renowned brands. With its commitment to authentic flavors and exceptional service, Fogo de Chão is poised to become a cherished addition to Nashville’s vibrant dining scene.
