Sound Sandwich, led by local franchise partners, operates with a business strategy that emphasizes a dedicated focus on a single brand and growth driven by data-based insights. Currently, Potbelly has other locations established in the state that are running and successful. However, it has yet to enter the Tacoma market.

Bob Wright, Potbelly’s president and CEO, expressed excitement about bringing the Potbelly experience to a broader audience in the Seattle-Tacoma region.

Additionally, as part of its Franchise Growth Acceleration Initiative, Potbelly has set an ambitious goal to open a total of 2,000 restaurant units.

In a recent development, Potbelly entered into a 40-unit agreement with the Royal Restaurant Group. This deal will see the opening of 36 new locations in Ohio and Florida and includes the acquisition of four existing units in the Columbus metropolitan area of Ohio. Potbelly is known for its fresh hoagies, cookies, and casual dining experience.
