New Fast Food Burger Restaurant opens in Astoria
A few days ago, a new fast-food burger joint opened in Astoria. Named Emoji Burger, this offers a number of burger offerings that are packed with toppings. Offerings include burgers such as ‘Da Hush’ for $10.75. This includes a beefy patty, cheese, onion rings, french fries, applewood bacon, lettuce, tomato and aioli. Many of the burgers follow a similar theme and prices range from $7.25 to $13.55. Compared to other places, these prices are quite reasonable.
This isn’t the first Emoji Burger location in the city either, as it has had one in Queens for a while, although this is its first in the Astoria neighborhood. The company announced its new Astoria venue on Instagram where they wrote: ‘We have the honor of serving you now in #astoria #astoriaqueens #astorianyc #astoriany grand opening THURSDAY!’
As seen in the image above, these aren’t quite smashburgers but they’re certainly loaded. The addition of fries on the bottom is also questionable but maybe a culinary masterstroke.
The venue also offers vegetarian options, hot dogs, loaded fries, and shakes that are cheaper than the burgers. So far, Emoji Burger has enjoyed successful reviews which bodes well for its long-term success. Emoji Burger is located on the corner 36-18 30th Ave.
