Primark, a global retail giant, has officially entered the Charlotte and North Carolina market. The new store, spanning over 30,000 square feet, opened today at Concord Mills, operating from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. This will be the first Primark in the state. However, if things go to plan then it may be the first of many.

According to Kevin Tulip, Primark’s U.S. president, the brand is known for providing high-quality fashion at affordable prices. This approach of maintaining low costs without compromising on quality, and extending those savings to customers, has helped Primark stand out in the U.S. retail landscape. The store offers an extensive range of products, including fashion for women, men, and children, as well as homeware, health and beauty products, activewear, and gifts.

This opening at Concord Mills is part of Primark’s targeted strategy to expand its presence in the U.S. market. Tulip noted that the retailer has tailored its offerings to meet the preferences and needs of American shoppers. Although somewhat new to US shoppers, Primark has been a staple of European retail for decades and now has its sights set on the US market.

Founded in Ireland in 1969, Primark has experienced significant growth and now operates over 400 stores across 15 countries.
