Recently, South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem was challenged online after describing the border as a ‘warzone.’ This comment was made on her personal Twitter account after it emerged 8 Americans were killed after a human smuggler’s car hit them in a head-on collision. The governor’s comments gained over 140 comments on Twitter, with many condemning her for her response.

Here, she wrote: ‘Our border isn’t just in a crisis — it’s a warzone. How many more innocent Americans must be killed before Joe Biden secures the Southern border? Republican Governors have taken action, yet Biden refuses to enforce the law. Do your job, Mr. President.’

Responding to this, one user named JR Anderson replied by saying: “I bet you sit in your office and wait for a tragedy to happen just you can have a reason to say I told you so. Do you have any ideas yourself on how to fix this?”

Elsewhere, another user added: “Again more virtue signaling from a woman who cheats on her husband and does fake photo ops. So now car crashes are the same are combat from a woman who has never served. Can one of you tell me why you believe this Rhetoric? Just one person, tell me why you believe her.”

While some constituents supported Noem’s comments, this shows a clear discontent among some of the people in her state.
