After 40 years of serving the community, Bado’s Pizza Grill & Ale House, a staple restaurant in Mt. Lebanon, has decided to shut its doors. The announcement of its closure was made on the restaurant’s Instagram page.

Here they wrote: “40 years ago, it all began with “A cut and a coke for a buck” and has since evolved into a family staple of Mount Lebanon.  With heavy hearts, we are sad to say that Bado’s will be saying goodbye to Beverly Road. We will remain open for operation every day between now and November 22, 2023 when we will close our doors for the last time. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you—the customers who made these last 40 years possible and filled with so many wonderful memories.”

The Badolato family, owners of the restaurant, expressed their sadness about leaving Beverly Road in the above social media post. They extended their gratitude to their customers for their unwavering support over the years and to their staff for their contributions to Bado’s success.

Wednesday, November 22, has been set as the final day of operation for Bado’s. However, the family also shared that they will continue to offer Bado’s Pizza through their food truck, keeping a part of their culinary tradition on the move.
