New Cafe opens in downtown Jersey City – And you may know its owners from elsewhere

Located on Eire Street, downtown Jersey City now has a new cafe that opened this week. This is because Cafe Tabarka has just opened its doors after months of anticipation. Cafe Tabarka will offer Mediterranean-based coffee and light snacks and is headed by the owner of Dolma Cafe. Due to the positive reputation of Dolma Cafe, you may assume that this place will be equally as good in terms of its offerings.

Due to it just opening, the food on offer is pastries. However, in two weeks this menu will expand to hot food as well. Furthermore, their baked goods are discounted by 30% after 2:30 PM so if you want some croissants then this may be the place to head to. As you may have figured by the freshness of its produce and Mediterranean foods, Tabarka is also quite healthy as far as cafes go. At least, you’re probably better off eating here compared to Starbucks if you’re concerned about healthy eating.

Like the Dolma Cafe, this also sports a cozy and clean aesthetic and represents the recent growth in the downtown area of Jersey City which has enjoyed a swathe of independent eateries lately. Cafe Tabarka is located at 18 Erie St, Jersey City, NJ 07302 which was previously occupied by 9Bar.
