The Earl of Sandwich is on the move once more, relocating to a new temporary spot within Downtown Disney to accommodate the construction of the upcoming Porto’s Bakery at the Anaheim shopping district adjacent to Disneyland.

This winter, a temporary Earl of Sandwich outpost will be established at the western end of Downtown Disney, as announced on the Disneyland Magic Key Instagram page.

Positioned close to the Star Wars Trading Post at Downtown Disney’s west end, the new temporary location for the Earl of Sandwich isn’t far from its original site. This interim pop-up will offer a select menu featuring some of the Earl of Sandwich classics. The eatery is known for its selection of warm sandwiches, salads, breakfast items, and pastries.

The current Earl of Sandwich temporary location, which took over the space of the former La Brea Bakery, needs to vacate to allow for the teardown of the building, paving the way for the new Porto’s Bakery & Eatery.

Porto’s is expected to initiate construction at the Downtown Disney site previously occupied by La Brea Bakery once the bakery’s design plans are finalized.

The winter timeline suggests that the new Earl of Sandwich pop-up will launch sometime between December 1st and the end of February. There may be a brief period when both the existing location at the former La Brea Bakery site on the east end and the new location near the Star Wars Trading Post on the west end are operational concurrently.
